Tony is our head chef and has years of experience having worked with some great chefs along the way in St.Ives, he heads a very small hard working team, no prima donna's, no "Ramsay" types, no shouting! Just very accommodating guys who are happy to adapt if they can. Our focus is on good flavours, not too complicated and completely unpretentious!
In these extremely challenging times since Covid reared it's ugly head please be patient and respectful to our staff who are working under immense pressure to deliver a great service.
I run front of house along with Bethany and our part time fabulous ladies (Joy, Steph, Sophie, Leona & Jo) and our focus is to welcome all of our customers and give them a great night out. We understand that there are lots of restaurants you can choose from and are privileged that you've chosen us! Cellar Bistro prides itself on friendly and welcoming customer service and a wonderful dining atmosphere. The restaurant is cosy & atmospheric with soft lighting and candles, you will feel equally at home in your best bib and tucker or a comfy pair of jeans! We have a lovely bar area for a pre dinner aperitif. We have filled the restaurant with an eclectic collection of upcycled furniture and vintage finds, giving The Cellar Bistro a completely unique decor.
