WELCOME TO CELLAR BISTRO
UPDATE 12TH JANUARY 2021
Unfortunately we all find ourselves in yet another lockdown, not the start to the year any of us wanted!
As you may know we were scheduled to reopen at February half term, sadly this is obviously now out of the question due to legislation.
There are so many rumours and reports circulating in the media that none of us know when lockdown will be over let alone hospitality reopening, what we do know is that we are at the back of the queue.
With this in mind we are NOT taking bookings until we get an exact date and information on the latest restrictions to be implemented, we fear that they will be even stricter than previously. It may be that our whole seating plan and booking allocation will have to be amended once again, and for this reason we don't want to disappoint any of you but would rather wait for definitive answers.
We very much miss our lovely restaurant, our fantastic team and of course you, our wonderful customers.
It is truly heart breaking to see it sitting empty (especially as the bills continue to flood in!)
We can't wait to see you all again in what we very much hope will be happier times.

We have followed new guidance to ensure we are Covid ready.
Due to losing so many tables we may not be able to offer the exact time requested but will do our best to give you close alternatives where possible.
Booking is highly recommended but we will always try and accommodate you safely without a reservation when possible.
We respectfully request that you arrive promptly for your reservation and for earlier bookings (2 hours allocated) please vacate your table in good time to enable us to prepare it for the next guests, extra cleaning protocols will take us longer to complete.
Please observe the signs situated in the restaurant.
Whilst keeping you safe we also want to ensure the best possible welcoming experience for our customers, we think the restaurant looks lovely and our tasty honest food is as good as ever!
We also ask at this time for your patience as we ourselves adapt to new conditions both in the restaurant & kitchen, to ensure everybody is kept safe things may take a little longer than usual. Thank you.
If you have a provisional booking we will contact you in good time to confirm the details along with some brief information essential to these new times we find ourselves in.

COVID SAFE
We have carried out a full risk assessment and followed recommended guidelines. Signs are situated throughout the premises for your information. Our tables are widely spaced, we have provided hand sanitising stations on arrival and before & after toilet visits. PPE is available for staff if they choose to use it. Although we are situated downstairs there is plenty of space and fresh air for your comfort and safety.
